Quezon City: Sentosa Singaporean Restaurant

A new player has entered Banawe’s list of late night discounted eats. Sentosa Garden (Banawe) is a restaurant featuring tasty Singaporean Dishes. They offer a 50% Discount on all dimsum items from 2-5PM and 9-11PM.

The restaurant is located at the 2nd floor of Tempura and Dezzato Pan at the corner of Scout Alcaraz and Banawe. Given that we really enjoy Tempura’s food, we decided to give the place a try.

Fried Radish Cake in XO Sauce (PhP 95)

This dish is definitely my favorite out of all the dishes they offer. Instead of the usual large rectangular blocks of radish cake, they’re version is cut up into small cubes (which removes the hassle of cutting it into pieces using your chopsticks). It is sauteed in XO sauce and served with egg and beansprouts. The radish cake is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.

Steamed Xiao Long Pao Shanghai Style (PhP 125)

Their Xiao Long Bao, for me, is definitely the best in Banawe. The skin is thin and the soup inside is plenty and flavorful. (Unlike the others with little to no soup.)

Beancurd Roll (PhP 95)

The beancurd roll is meaty unlike the usual ones that are half-veggie and half-meat.

Steamed Pork Ribs with Yam (PhP 85)

Their pork ribs are tender. Adding the yam makes the sauce yummier.

The prices captioned above are the non-promo prices. As mentioned above, Sentosa Singaporean Restaurant Banawe offers a 50% Discount on all dimsum items from 2-5PM and 9-11PM.

Other food items are featured in the gallery below. My personal favorite? The Basil Boneless Chicken. I’m definitely coming back for another visit!
