Batangas: Mt. Batulao

Seeing my friend’s pictures of his hike yesterday at Mt. Manalmon made me miss trekking. Granted, I’ve only done it once, but it was a fun and satisfying experience. (My friends and I climbed Mt. Batulao early this year.) Hopefully, we will be able to go trekking again before the rainy season starts.

Welcome to Mt Batulao

How to get to Mt. Batulao:

  1. At the Taft Avenue cor. EDSA bus station, take a bus (PhP 120) going to Nasugbu and ask them to drop you off at Evercrest Golf Course.
  2. Either walk to the jump off point or hire a tricycle (PhP 50) to drive you there.
  3. Hire a guide for PhP 300 or just follow the trail.

* After the climb, showers are available for PhP 20-30 in houses near the jump off point.
