We’ve been to the Coconut House at QC Memorial Circle before for dinner. (See Quezon City: Coconut House) But we only discovered their great tasting dessert this weekend.
Buko Halo-halo (PhP 85): Special coco ice mix with macapuno, banana and lecheflan. (Add PhP 15 for a scoop of coconut ice cream on top.) It is highly recommended to add a scoop of ice cream to make the halo-halo extra creamy. Their halo-halo is now tied with Razon’s on my favourite halo-halo list.
Buko Sherbet (PhP 75): Fresh coconut bits with nata de coco, tapioca pearls and pinipig on top of their special coco ice mix. (Add PhP 15 for a scoop of coconut ice cream on top.) My companion preferred this over the halo-halo because it’s less sweet, plus it the pinipig adds texture and flavor to this wonderful dessert. (Another reason is he likes nata de coco.)
So the next time you visit the beautiful Quezon Memorial Circle, do stop by for a cool dessert at Coconut House.
