[Update 01-May-2014] The Restaurant is now under new management and is now known as Seoul Korean Restaurant. The menu, taste of the food and staff are all still the same though.
Ever since discovering this place from a friend’s recommendation more than a year ago, this place has become me and my sisters’ favorite Korean restaurant. 6 Days Korean Restaurant is a small place that serves great tasting Korean dishes at reasonable prices and is located located in Ortigas Centre, Pasig City behind the University of Asia and the Pacific.
We like their kimchi!
Our favorite section in their menu is the stew with bibimbap section. For as low as PhP 250, you get a serving of stew and a bowl of Bibimbap.
Kimchi Jjigae (PhP 250): Kimchi stew and pork tofu. This is my personal favorite and is highly recommended for kimchi / spicy food lovers.
Bulgogi Soondobu (PhP 250): For those who do not like spicy food, then this beef bulgogi, soft tofu soup is for you. The golden mushroom in the soup makes this dish extra special.
Spicy Bulgogi (PhP 300): Spicier version of the regular beef bulgogi. This is also one of our favorite dishes.
Galbi Jjim (PhP 300): Another great tasting dish is their Beef rib stew. Unlike the food items under the stew with bibimbap section, this dish is served with plain rice. However, you can opt to upgrade the plain rice to bibimbap by adding PhP 50.
Budae Jjigae (PhP 700): A friend gave me a brief history lesson before we ate this dish. Apparently, because of the food shortage during the Korean war, the people resorted to using canned goods from the US bases and added this to their traditional spicy soup with kimchi. Anyway, this is a great dish to share with friends. Trust me when I say one order is more than enough for four people.
