Pasig: Kapitolyo Food Trip (Part 3)

For last Friday’s trip, we decided to try out Eleven Tables at the 1st floor of Ace Plaza, Silantro (again) and Mad Mark’s (again). Why repeat restaurants? I wanted to try other stuff in those restaurants.

  • Eleven Tables: Specializes in Fondue
  • Silantro: the Fil-Mex cantina, and
  • Mad Mark’s: a sandwich and frozen desserts place

Eleven Tables

I saw a picture of the cheese fondue posted by friend in Facebook and felt that I had to try this place. I mean, it is cheese and bacon, two of my favorite food in one dish!

Eleven Tables: Bacon and Cheddar Fondue

Eleven Tables: Bacon and Cheddar Fondue

Bacon and Cheddar Fondue (PhP 420): The fondue was served with baby potatoes, broccoli, bread and carrots. For an appetizer that is good for 2 and priced at PhP 420, it’s a bit expensive. However, the cheese is mixed with a generous amount of bacon.

Silantro Fil-Mex Cantina

Next stop is one of our favorite restaurants in the area: Silantro! I was craving for beef, so instead of getting our usual Silantro Quesadilla, I decided to try the Beef Quesadilla. When we got to the restaurant, there was a very long waiting line so we decided to have it to go and eat in the car.

Beef Quesadilla (PhP 145): The beef they used is the same as what they use in their soft tacos. It was good, but not as good as their Silantro Quesadilla.
