Makati: Mendokoro Ramenba

Ramen Yushoken, located at Alabang and known by many as the best ramen place in the south, now opens its doors in Makati. Mendokoro Ramenba is located at the ground floor of V Corporate Center along Soliman Street.

Mendokoro Ramenba only has 21 seats, so expect a long waiting line.

Shio Tonkotus Ramen
Shio Tonkotsu Ramen

Shio tonkotsu ramen (PhP 320): Light milky ramen with a large slab of chashu.

Tantan-men tonkotsu ramen (PhP 380): Spicy and very milky ramen with ground pork instead of the slab of chashu. Great for people like me who loves spicy ramen. (P.S. You can ask the cook to make it spicier.)

Aji Tamago

Aji Tamago (PhP 90): Gooey eggs, perfect with your ramen.

This place is a welcome addition to the growing number of ramen restaurants in the metro. I can’t wait to go back and try their tsukemen and gyoza.

  1. Oho, just went there yesteday around 7PM. No lines (it was a Tuesday anyway) and there were less than 10 people inside. Not sure though if they’re still on soft opening or on full operation already. 🙂
