San Juan: Konbini Store

Sometimes, it’s nice to have regular ramen that tastes just right — not too rich and not too fatty. We found this in Konbini located along Conneticut Street, San Juan. Konbini is a Japanese convenience store with a tiny corner with a few tables for their diners. We used to visit this place to buy ingredients for our Japanese curry.

For first time diners, the cashier recommended their ramen sets which consists of a bowl of ramen and 5 pieces of gyoza for an affordable price of only PhP 335. We ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen set and the Miso Ramen Set. Both ramens were tasty and the gyoza was good. (P.S. You can buy a box of frozen gyoza from the convenience store.)

San Juan City: Sunrise Buckets

A friend of a friend said that Sunrise Buckets is one of the places that serve good buffalo wings, so we decided to give the place a try.

The store’s interior looks good. It has a Hawaiian theme going on and plays reggae music in the background.
